Facelift without cosmetic intervention


Since March 2009, the cosmetic company, Oriflame has used iPaper to present their brochures and catalogues on the net. The result is uplifting, user friendly and spot on for both the customers and the employees.  

There was no need for make-up or buckets of creams to give Oriflame’s online presentations a facelift. The cosmetic company did it with just a couple of mouse clicks and an iPaper license. “We already had an online catalogue but we were lacking the tools that could make it faster and easier to use. iPaper had these tools. We choose them instead of several others because of the price and also because of the good personal contact,” says Marie Louise Danielsen, multimedia assistant in Oriflame.

Easy and spot on
Marie and her colleagues set the iPaper up themselves with the help of iPaper CMS.
“The design is easy to work with. We upload a pdf, set up the catalogue, name the products and the catalogue is ready to flick through,” says Marie Louise Danielsen.
The iPaper solution functions as a supplement to the printed catalogue at Oriflame:
“The whole time that the customer is flicking through the catalogue, he or she can put products directly into the shopping basket with a single click, without having to navigate round lots of different pages. It is easy and spot on,” says the multimedia assistant.

Tools with room for growth
Oriflame has got a user friendly tool with iPaper. The solution is called Business, but Oriflame are already considering upgrading the solution, so that instead of being limited to just five iPapers, it will be possible to publish an unlimited number.
“We can also use the solution to send fewer internal drafts and proposals. In this way, it can help to ease the daily workload further,” says Marie Louise Danielsen.
