Today more than 400 manuals, documents, brochures, politics etc. are published as iPaper on Middelfart’s website and intranet. And the online version gives the citizen in Middelfart a better service.
Mie Spuur Rasmussen, Communication advisor in Middelfart municipality, elaborates:
‘The fact that iPaper is very user-friendly and gives the user the possibility to search on specific content is of great importance to us. In this way we can easily make information available to our citizen. Of course there are still people who don’t have access to the Internet and therefore we still print some publications. But iPaper is a very user-friendly supplement which comes in handy when we as the green growth municipality focus on reducing the CO2- emission and saving both the environment and the budget for unnecessary expenses.’
Always up to date
One publication that only exists online is Middelfart municipality's personnel policy. With approx. 4,500 employees and a policy that often is being updated, iPaper has been the tool to achieve the best result.
'It is essential that all employees have the latest version of the personnel policy, and moreover we would like to give them a better reading experience. In this context iPaper is the obvious tool to do so and it has fully removed our printing costs . In short, an economic advantage, ' Peter Tvebro says.
